The Mission of Mercy project will be returning to Wise County July 19-20, 2024. Please join us as we celebrate 25 years of providing free dental care to Southwest VA residents. First held in Wise County in 2000, Wise MOM has provided 25,245 Southwest Virginia area patients with dental treatment valued at $22.2 million.
There is a profound need for access to affordable dental services in Southwest Virginia. Wise MOM is a 2-day dental clinic conducted each year in July to provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery and x-rays.
Wise MOM is made possible by partnerships with the Virginia Dental Association, VCU School of Dentistry and Dental Hygiene, Virginia Health Care Foundation and a host of other sponsors.
