The University of Virginia’s College at Wise (Convocation Center)
The Mission of Mercy project will be returning to Wise County 2026 (date to be determined). Please join us as we celebrate 26 years of providing free dental care to Southwest VA residents. First held in Wise County in 2000, Wise MOM has provided 25,857 Southwest Virginia area patients with dental treatment valued at $22.7 million.
There is a profound need for access to affordable dental services in Southwest Virginia. Wise MOM is a 2-day dental clinic conducted each year in July to provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery and x-rays. No dentures.
Wise MOM is made possible by partnerships with the Virginia Dental Association, VCU School of Dentistry and Dental Hygiene, Virginia Health Care Foundation and a host of other sponsors.

Wytheville Veterans Mini-MOM is a one-day, pop-up event providing free dental care to veterans in the region, including Wytheville and neighboring localities.
Missions of Mercy Free Dental Clinic

7:00 am- 4:30 pm

Services provided on a first come, first served basis and include: cleanings, fillings, extractions and select root canals.
Denture screenings will be completed for upcoming denture project to take place in September.
Please bring a complete list of medications. Note there is no overnight parking and this event is for ages 18+.
