She also earned an MBA in Health Care Administration from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.

Dr. Byerson is currently an Assistant Professor at VCU School of Dentistry. She has also provided comprehensive patient care in various settings, including Private Practice, Federally Qualified Health Centers, Military Readiness for service members of the armed forces, and inmates within the Corrections Sector. In addition, Dr. Byerson is the Vice President of Peter B. Ramsey Dental Society.

Dr. Byerson is kind, friendly, approachable, and loves interacting with all people. She prefers approaching dentistry using a cheerful attitude, evidence-based research, and genuine concern for the best interest of her patients. Dr. Byerson is supported by family, which includes her husband, Braxton - a life coach, professional speaker, and author - and four very active young boys. When she isn't caring for patients, her top priority is spending quality time with her family.
